Therapist Mentorship Program
The Abilities Mentorship Program was created to ensure the highest quality therapy is provided to each child we serve. Our program establishes and reinforces best pediatric practice for newly graduated and newly hired therapists. Just like the therapy we provide to our clients, the mentorship we provide to our therapists is highly individualized- with the level and frequency of support being thoughtfully determined by each therapist's past experience and current knowledge in the field of pediatrics.
The Abilities Mentorship Program provides direct, weekly meetings with an experienced therapy mentor to advise and guide newly hired therapists in the following areas:
-
Clinical caseload management
-
opportunities for direct observation and clinical feedback regarding current caseload challenges
-
-
Identifying and developing areas of special interests related to pediatrics
Combined, our speech and occupational therapy mentors have over 50 years of experience in pediatric therapy and are eager to guide you towards a successful and fulfilling career at Abilities!
